A Yoga Workshop designed to provide yoga tools for parents of young children, ages 5-11. A long school day, high expectations and learning how to handle oneself in social situations is not easy. What if, you could provide your child with some tools to help him/her feel in control, successful, and positive?
The workshop will empower you to teach your child to recognize feelings, control emotions and make thoughtful decisions.
The Yoga Ed. Philosophy of meeting young children where they are physically, mentally and emotionally will be shared in this fun and integrative workshop, providing parents with a yoga tool belt including:
Breaths to help children recognize their feelings, enabling them to act rather than react.
Simple poses to help children relieve stress and relax.
Fun partner poses and games to create feelings of wellness and laughter.
Visualization techniques and scenarios that will enable your child to decompress, feel calmer and in more control.
90 minute workshop with lecture, practice of breaths and poses, games and relaxation. Hand-out included.
