Research shows what we already know! Children who practice yoga and mindfulness are physically, mentally and emotionally more healthy. And every child can practice yoga; there is no prerequisite, “making the team” or super skills necessary. In this one-hour class, children will learn basic breaths for focus and relaxation, postures for strength and balance, games and partner poses for social skills. The lessons are designed from the Yoga Ed. Curriculum with emphasis on child development, anatomy, physiology and brain-based learning.
