Props, props and more props are used in this supportive, simple yet effective workshop designed as an introduction to Svaroopa® yoga for gentle yogis. Suitable for those new to yoga or this style of yoga that have limited flexibility, mobility and or maybe limited by conditions such as fibromyalgia, chronic pain or past injury. With permission from your doctor for regular exercise, this class will move at a slow pace, but you will need to be able to get up and down off the floor, fold, role and stack yoga blankets.
This workshop offers a start in finding some relief in your body as this style focuses on poses that support your healing process and release your deeper spinal tensions that limit your ability to move. Adjustments, alignments and substitute poses are offered to maximize the effect of the poses for your body.

Following this workshop, a series of gentle yoga classes, along with yoga therapysessions will be offered so that you can continue this wonderful healing process.
